can I select which apps to install while using migration assistant

after I do atime machine backup, I have used osxs built in migration assistant to transfer my documents apps etc.

is there a way that I can select which apps I want to transfer? or is the only choice is to transfer as ll apps?

and, say I have adobe cs6 master collection on a mac, it is a trial version, and I have serial keys for adobe cs6 design suite, could I use my design suite keys for those apps in the master collection? or do I have to/need a whole seperate serial key for the master collection? does the master collection have one key for all the apps?

Can't help you with the licensing issue, but Migration Assistant with apps is either all or nothing.

I have never seen anything that would do that.... no.

It would be nice if Apple would revise the MA app, to give the user the option to "selectively migrate" apps (with checkboxes, etc.)...

But we'd probably best not hold our breath...
