I bought the extended warrenty for my dieing mini about a month ago. It

covered the replacement charges for the battery, so now I'm up to 3 full

hours! However, I am still currently under warrenty, and I really want to get

the ipod nano. Will apple let me get the money for my extended warrenty if I

don't want it anymore, or can I only transfer the warrenty to my new ipod?

Any help is great.

I don't think so, once it's registered to a product it stays with that particular serial number

Add to that you've already used the warranty for a new battery so do you really expect them to give you the money back as well? Why don't you ask them to refund you the price of the mini as well?
