Hello I recently sold my Macbook Pro. However I have some software that came with it left over. The iWork '09 CD is still with me in the shrink wrap and I was wondering if I could sell it online or if it was tied to a certain computer?

Even if there was, Apple doesn't monitor each serial number like another company we know...

So because the cop isn't technically enforcing the law, go ahead, it's okay to do the wrong thing. OP, if you wiped the hard drive prior to the sale, you're fine.

IF you sold the computer and listen it to come with iWork then contact the buyer if you have his information to give him the disk.

Otherwise sell it...
