I bought a new iPad Air LTE (Verizon) and activated a T-mobile SIM in it instead. I removed the original Verizon SIM without ever activating it.

Can someone else use the sim to activate in his ipad/iphone? I am selling it on ebay, and was wondering if any of that info is tied back to me somehow through my purchase (even though I never activated it).

Can I sell unactivated SIM card?

I guess so. I mean there are a lot of unactivated SIM cards for sale on eBay.

If you didn't activate it, I really can't imagine that any of your info would be tied to it. I would think that Apple wouldn't have any reason to provide Verizon with info about you since no contracts are involved. Unless you bought it from Verizon itself -- mayyybe then they'd somehow associate your info with the SIM and make it a challenge for someone else to activate it. But otherwise, I would strongly bet your info isn't "recoverable" or anything by the buyer and they could activate it just fine. And like the other poster mentioned, lots are already for sale, so you can definitely sell it. If you have no need for it and can make a couple relatively effortless bucks, why not go for it.

Sure you can, there are many cards like this. Actually it might be very helpful to someone. Go ahead and place it on eBay!
