Can I set an Apple Watch with a carrier plan without a phone plan?

Hello,

I do not have a personal mobile phone. I'm using my professional phone today.
Under company policy it makes sense to not been able to extend plan and share it with personal devices such as a Watch.
I'm trying to understand if it is possible to find a cellular plan which can work with the watch.

Are you aware of such offers in the market?

depending on where you are Apple has the list of supported carriers here https://www.apple.com/watch/cellular/

They are all mentioning to have an iPhone with a valid existing plan in order to set the new watch (UK).
Well looks like you can't have a plan "alone" for only your watch.

You need to have an iPhone in order to set up a watch plan unfortunately.

Assuming your work phone is an iPhone you can setup dual SIM, see https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT209043 and have your Watch use your personal plan.

I wish I had a dual SIM Phone but it is not the case.
