If i'm looking at something in firefox on my mac, is there an easy way to send that link to my ipad to carry on looking at that page?

I was thinking of using dropbox but don't think that supports sending links.

Any ideas?

A really easy way to do this - use the bookmarklet "keep it with me" on your toolbar on your iPad browser. When you click on it, it will "send" the web page to your desktop browser, where you click on the "Receive" bookmarklet, and that same page opens in Firefox/chrome/Safari, etc.

For info and set up instructions:
http://www.keepitwith.me/

Another alternative is the App "Pastebot". You would copy the URL address on the iPad, and it would "sync" to your desktop clipboard where you paste it into your browser.

Lastly, and involving a more complicated setup. Using the service http://sendtodropbox.com/, you could set up an Automator Work flow that would open any URL mailed to that folder, in your desktop browser.

Edit: I just realized that you wanted to view a page FROM your desktop TO your iPad. The first option I mentioned should work fine.
