Can I still use my original iPhone?

I currently have a 3GS, but I plan on selling it on eBay. I'd ideally like to sell it as soon as possible in order to get a higher amount money, but the unknown release date of the white iPhone 4 makes this rather tricky.

In short, how do I go about using my original iPhone between the time that my phone gets sold and the white iPhone becomes available?

That's what I'm doing at the moment. Still have my unlimited 3G plan.

Just put your sim card in there, and it'll work. ATT will apply the right data plan automatically.
