Can I stream audio from my mac to my iphone?

I had this brilliant idea, seeing if anyone has done this and knows how to set this up. I want to know if, in essence, i can set my audio output to a wifi network, and then receive it on my iphone. I've seen where you can stream music via file sharing, but nothing like system sounds or whatnot. Any takers?

theres already an app called simplify that lets you share and stream your entire itunes library via wifi and cellular networks. as for actual system sounds, i haven't heard of anything that does that yet.
