Can I swap my AT&T iPhone sim into an unlocked android & keep iphone unlimited data?

Ok, so I have a 3GS that's on it's last legs. Was holding out hope for a bigger screened iPhone and now am curious to try android.

Would I be able to buy a used HTC Inspire, throw in my sim card and use the phone until the next iPhone is released? Actually I know that will work. What I want to know is if I'll be able to keep my "unlimited" iPhone data plan for the next iPhone release.

Your current plan would be "Unlimited for 4S"

This plan would not be valid for the iPhone 5

To answer your question, I have and still use a SIM card adapter and put my iPhone SIM into my Galaxy S2 all the time. AT&T has not said a thing. They really do not care.
