So guys, my 5s dropped on the wate, and I'm travelling today to Orlando and I've already called the Apple Store there and they said that I can get a new 5S paying 269$.

My question is, someone did get a new iphone 6 by paying a large price? If so, what u told the genius?

I doubt it. The reason they are giving you a lower price on the 5s is because it's a swap under warranty for the same device.

Not possible.

the only way this would happen is if they are out of stock of your device, and then they would probably just offer a larger storage capacity or different color, not a completely different model.

The Apple Store does have an old iPhone trade in program if I'm not mistaken. You're obviously not going to get a straight up trade but if you're willing to pay the difference the option is there.

Yes, you can get a new iPhone 6 by paying a larger price. Specifically, $649, $749 or $849 depending on how much storage you want.

Apple has tons of old stock....I betcha if you had a 3gs or whatever, you could still get an OOW replacement.
