Can I switch data plans with my grandma?

is there a way to switch or no?

i'm not 100% sure but i think the only way to do it is for the phones to be swapped and then you would have you grandma's phone number.

hes right.. but you can switch the number to another one for free via my verizon website. There is no way you can keep your old number.

I'm sure if you call Verizon and ask they will give you a definite answer.

Only if you start using her phone number instead.
Then you can call and change the number like said above but you wont be able to use the number you're using now.
