I have two computers:

2012 i7 Mac Mini with 1TB HD
2012 MBP 15" with 500gig HD

At this time, the Mac Mini is relegated to TV duty, with a 2TB external drive, while the MBP is my main machine.

Can I swap out the hard drives as is? Or would there be driver issues?

I'd like to keep the data where it is, and just exchange the drives..

Thanks!

If they are both on 10.8.3 they should be, but, there is an easy way to test this out.
Connect both Mac's with or a Firewire Cable or a Thunderbolt Cable and start one up in Target Disk Mode, then start the other Mac while holding the Option key, choose the other Mac's HD and see if it starts up.
Do this on both Mac's, if it works on both Macs it should work.

For those interested, I went ahead and switched them out, no issues yet, they started right up.
