My wife and I have 2 MacBooks with different iTunes libraries, and we're planning to get an iPod (just one). Can we have both our libraries synced to the same iPod? Our combined libraries sum to aprox. 60Gb, so a single 80Gb iPod will be just fine for us...

only if you manually manage the songs on the iPod, so you would have to drag the songs you want on by hand. why don't you just combine them into one larger library?

If you select "manually manage music" for your iPod preferences then yes, you can.

You'll have to click and drag the songs you want to the iPod, but it should work fine.

Thanks mrkramer and EricNau. I'll go the manual way then... Our musical tastes are too different, so creating one large library is not an option... I think iTunes will refuse to merge Black Sabbath and Air Supply into the same library!!! :D
