My MacBook was recently stolen. So when I bought a replacement, I figured that when I plugged my iPhone in and hit sync, it would send all the contacts, music, calendars, apps, etc over to the new computer. Figured this would be easy.

But when I hit "sync", nothing is happening.

Should I be able to send all the info/files from the iPhone over to the new MacBook?

Thanks in advance.

You would have to transfer the files from computer to computer which in your case can not be done. There is software available for PC's to transfer files from phone to computer, but I am not sure about Macs.

Did you tell iTunes that you wanted to sync the iPhone with this new computer? Because it will do what you are asking except for music (unless bought from iTunes).

Anyone possibly know the name of the PC software to send ALL info on the iPhone over to a new PC??
