Can I take a file from my mac partition and put it on my PC partition?

I downloaded a file and it had an .exe file that I couldn't open. I pretty much just found out you can't use .exe files on a mac, so I was wondering if there was an easier way than having to download 3 gigs onto my Windows partition. Is there a way of running an .exe file on my Mac side? Or is there a way to take this file and put it on my Windows side? Or should I just have to download it again? Help please! (\(x___x; )/)
