Everywhere, yet nowhere.
I was curious to see if anyone knows if I will be able to transfer my unlimited data plan that I have with my iPad 1 to an iPad 3 if I decide to get it. I wasn't sure if this was going to be possible since the iPad 1 is 3G and the iPad 3 is 4G. I don't really want to lose that unlimited data plan.

Thanks in advance.

yes. I called ATT yesterday and you can get unlimited 4G. It's great if you are in a place that has coverage.

I simply logged on to my AT&T account using the new iPad and it gave me an option to switch my unlimited account over. I did that. Now I seem to have unlimited 3G on the original iPad and unlimited LTE on the new one. Not quite sure how that works, will be interesting to see if AT&T kills the old one in the next day or so. But right now both of them show up as unlimited.
