Hello, just wanted to know that, I have 5.0.1 version, some dude told me I can't because I updated it to the last version available, but 4.x versions can be unlocked to use in my country, is this true? I use it as an Ipod at the time,

Can I unlock my Iphone 4 CDMA (I'm from Mexico)

A CDMA iphone 4 can only be used in the CDMA network it was locked to and its probably a Verizon iphone 4. Correct?
If yes then it cannot be unlocked and you wont be able to use it on any GSM carrier.
If yes then it cannot be unlocked and you wont be able to use it on any GSM carrier.
