I don't think you can. At one point I was looking around for possible Firewire to USB 2 converter, but I don't think that exists either.

Click to expand... not possible. those ports are part of the main logic board and not replaceable, and its a hardware difference, not a software one. Use firewire if you need the high speed ports. Its often better anyway.
