I have an older ibook G4 that I replaced with a new mini mac because although it still functions it had just gotten too slow. My mini mac came with 2G ram which I removed and upgraded it to 8 G. I now have two 1 G ram cards. As far as I can tell from my research online the G4 has 1 slot for ram with a max upgrade of 1.5 gig. My question is can i put one of my 1 Gig ram cards from the mac mini into the g4 ibook which currently only has 512 mg. From what I could tell online the memory type that is already in the laptop is: DDR PC 2700 and the memory that I took our of the mini mac is DDR3 PC3-10600

I have no idea if those are interchangeable or not. Thanks for the help!

No, as that at least six year old iBook uses a much older type of RAM than the Mac mini.
You couldn't even use the RAM from a 2010 or 2011 Mac mini in a 2006 or 2008 Mac mini, due it being different.
