Can I Upgrade my 4GB iPhone for an 8GB?

I was one of those early adopters of the iPhone, and I got the 4GB (it was the last phone they had). However, due to increase in music downloading (and the 1.1.3), I need more memory. Is there a way to trade in my 4GB iPhone for an 8GB? I realize I'll probably have to pay $100, but I really don't wanna buy a brand new one for $399.

It is seriously doubtful. I called AT&T and asked them about paying an additional $100 and increasing mine to the 16gb and signing a new contract, they said no.

Check out eBay you can still get around $299 for a 4GB one (even more for an unlocked one).

you should see if they have a recycling program at apple like they have for old iPods...i mean, it is a small discount, but at least it is something if you don't want to sell it
