I only have about 3gb of Music I need to transfer over to my Mac when I get it. Can I just use one of those small USB HD to move the song library?

Holy cow, get this. I go to staples near me and ask the guy if this PNY 2.0 GB Flash drive would be ok to move my music from my Dell to my Mac. He says, i'm not sure I hate Macs. lol F him. I don't even have my Mac yet and this is my first Hate encounter lol.
Any USB Stick will do the trick. Just don't ask Staples staff any complicated questions like that again!!
If you have an iPod, you can use a shareware app called "iPod folder" that will let you use it to move the stuff over. That way your cover art and iTunes structure is duplicated perfectly. You don't need any application to put files on your iPod. I just drag and drop files into it like any external hard drive (or thumb/flash drive). Then when I get home, I take the files off of my iPod and put it right on my Mac... it's that simple.
Well I bought a 2.0 GB flash drive. My music library is only at 1.97 GB. I copied over the iTunes Music folder to the flash drive. If that doesnt work i'll try just using my iPod. Thanks.
I would have gotten a 4 GB flash drive for that.
Replace Mac with Linux or Solaris. *shrug*
