Would I be able to use an Airport Extreme or Express as a wifi adaptor in case I buy a PowerPC that doesn't have Airport?

My router's in another room away from where I'd put it and this could help with running wires all over my apartment. My router is an AT&T U-verse one, so not sure if that would make a difference.

Sure, the best would be to get an Airport Express N version and have it join your current network. That will make it into a WiFi-Ethernet bridge. The Express G units cannot do this as they are not powerful enough.

Thanks! Didn't even think of making sure it had N. I was thinking it wouldn't matter since it's an older Mac, but guess it would since my network SHOULD be running on N.
