Can I use Applecare to get my scratched screen replaced?

So, I dropped tweezers (don't ask, i still don't know how) on my Macbook 12 screen and there's a small dent/scratch about 5mm long. I have Applecare so can I pay the excess fee of £50 or whatever it is and get it fixed for free?

No Apple care does not cover accidental damage.

To clarify, OP: AppleCare for Macs does not cover accidental damage. AppleCare+ for iOS devices and Apple Watch does for an excess fee. There is no AppleCare+ for Macs.
