can i use iphone 4s on tmobile

want to get the iphone 4s or iphone 4 but i have a tmobile family plan. if i buy an unlocked iphone from apple do i have to jailbreak it to get it to work on tmobiles network or can i just buy a tmobile microsim and pop it in. i also heard that u have to jailbreak the iphone 4 to get it to work on tmobile even though it is unlocked and i heard that facetime doesnt work on tmobile iphone 4 and i use facetime a lot and so it is important to me and i am confused so plz help.

Technically, that facetime doesn't work with any of the carriers.. As it stated in the iphone 4 keynotes, it only works on wi-fi connection.. I'm not sure if there are any changes though..

If you buy an unlocked one, it should work. FaceTime prolly won't.
