Hi, I have a Mac Book that i have been having alot of trouble with that is running on Mac OSX 10.4.11, I also have a MacBook Pro that is running on Snow Leapord (i got the leapord disk but an upgrade to snow leopard came with it as i btought the laptop just as the new operating sytem came out), My question is can I put the OS 10.5 or 10.6 on the mac book that is running the older system using the disks i got when buying the computer? if so it would be appreciated if you could try and give me an insight into how to do this as i am afraid of breaking computer!!! thanks

If the Snow Leopard Upgrade DVD is white and with an image of a Snow Leopard of it, you can use that DVD to reinstall Mac OS X 10.6 onto the older MB.
You can't use the grey Restore DVD though, as they are model specific.

MRoogle is a good tool to search these fora for already existing threads about the same issue and may answer your question.
