So I have this tiny MS Surface tablet that I call "work laptop" because ... well it was provided by my employer for me to work on. Now the problem is that my desk space is quite small and I can't afford placing a 24" monitor there - so I'd be very interested to use my MBP as an external monitor. Any suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

PS. Sorry if this has been asked before, but Google left me in the dark.
PPS. I have a 2016 MBP so it's the one that "100% USB-C friendly".

it would be easier to remotely access your Surface tablet.

What version of Windows is it running, Home or Professional?

there is an app for that, most are $10US.
just make sure the apple store and Microsoft store in the UK supports the same vendor's app.

I've also been curious about this. From a hardware perspective, what ports does the Surface tablet have that you are using?

From a software perspective, I've used Duet Display on and off for years now. (https://www.duetdisplay.com/air) Apparently, Duet Air claims that you can "turn your iPad, Mac or PC into a lightning-fast remote desktop or wireless second display so you can get things done from anywhere." Might be worth a look.
