Can I use my dell printer w/ macbook/osx?

I guess the title says it all, except for the that I'd rather not use parallels or anything like that....

is there a generic driver or something that i can download?

What Dell printer model is it? I know most Dell printers are just rebranded Lexmarks. If you know which Lexmark model the Dell corresponds to you may be able to install the corresponding Lexmark driver and it should work. I just read an article about it describing the Dell 1700n using the a Lexmark driver.

its a dell photo printer 720, if that helps....

should i just try googling lexmark printers and see if i can find a driver that works?
