Can I use my iPhone sim in a 3G iPad?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

If I buy an AT&T 3G iPad. Can I pop the sim out of my iPhone 4 then pop it in to my iPad and surf the internet? Will this cause any problems with my account?

From what u have heard it will not work. Att sees what device it(SIM) is using(by the IMEI number) then they will suspend the data access. They might not catch it right away but they will catch it.

Go to the ipad hack forum....there are a lot of topic on this...including triming down your sim card if you have the full size sim

Do you mean HERE on macrumors?? I couldn't find anything. Unless your comment was made before AT&T started sending out those messages to those people using their iphone SIMS in their iPads.
