Hello

I am asking this, due to a few reasons.

I had a 2 laptops, 1 got really hot and could not see the screen, the other just could not see the screen. I had to freeze towels to put over my laptop to keep cool, both was black.

I really want to go outside and work, can I do this?

Hottest day of the year so far here.

Yes, you can. Due brightness, the screen might be hard to see though. Stay in shadow though, computers don't like the sun too much, it heats them up pretty fast

Yes, it's fine

@Gaogier, I am in the exact same situation as you, I recently purchased a MacBook Pro 15", I was outside with it yesterday and it seemed quite hot, still nowhere near as hot as PC Laptops get.

The answer to you question is yes, you can take it outside, it is perfectly OK, the screen is perfect, just turn the brightness to full.

You will only get about 6 Hours battery with the full brightness and the fans to kick in slightly (not recognisably) depending on the temperature. I am outside now with my MacBook Pro, good luck and enjoy the sun! :apple:
