Can I use new Macbook for Live on stage (clicktrack+others)

New Macbook :
It's no FireWire
so i have to use only USB2.0

i want :
i'm drummer.
i want to use Logic's music files
for additional sound&chorus live on stage

my friends work on Logic Pro (iMac)

Question:

1. can new MB able to use as i mentioned ?
2. which hardware (such as M-Box) should i use on stage ?

I am new for Mac & for digital music with live playing
at time i use just only WAV or mp3 files with click track.

I am in the exact same situation. I just bought the new macbook and want to incorporate it into my band on stage.

I am wondering what the best programs/hardware would be for just doing simple beat cuing and sampling for a band to play along with. Logic is great for creating the music but I think it is a bit too bulky to rely on for a live show.
