I accidentally my whole location.
Okay, I'm seeing this question being asked waaaay more often than it needs to be so I'm making something that can be made a sticky, be included in the FAQ or something because this is getting ridiculous.

So...

Can I use the installed screen on my Mac as a seperate display? Like can I connect my Powermac up to it somehow and have it display on my 20" iMac?

No.

By no I mean its technically feasable (see link below) if you really want to screw around with it but in the end its a pretty worthless effort if all you want is a good screen.

There's other options if you really want to get an external computer powering your internal screen, like VNC for example but the cost and time involved in taking a screen out of something like an iMac, Powerbook, iBook or eMac and hooking up something else to it would add up to more than actually buying another display. The only reason I can think to do it would be to learn more about the internal workings of the computer or as a project just to see if it could be done.
