iPad Can I use the iPad charger for Beats by Dr. Dre?

Hi,

I won a pair of the new Beats headphones, and they need to charge using the usb to micro usb cable that comes with them. Currently I use my iMac, but to free up some ports and to exploit my iPad 2 charger, is it possible to just switch the cables and use that?

I am a dork when it comes to electricity, hence me asking..

The headphones will only charge at the rate it can is you will be fine.
