Can I use the Power Cable from my older 2014 MBP with my new 2021 MBP

I'm only talking about the power cable going from the outlet to the brick, not the brick itself. The new MBP ships with just the American plug where you have to plug the entire power brick into the outlet ( very lame IMO) and I also travel. I have an American and European power cable for my mid 2014 MBP. Can I use these cables with my new MBP power brick. I'm not in Europe and my cables are there so I can not test it myself.
