I ordered the 16 Pro Max. This will be my first iphone with USB-C port.

I bought my iPad Pro 13(2024) a couple of months ago.

Can I use the USB charger that came with iPad Pro 13 to charge the 16 Pro Max?

Yes and any current Macbook or iPad charger will work.

Actually any USB-C port is fine - my EV car has 3 of them.

Yes. That charger is a USB-C PD 3.0 20 watt charger. It works with all iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 phones with a good Type C to Type C cable.
