I'm just at home..

I tried the slightly moistened microfiber cloth.. but that left streaks and it didn't clean as well as the wipes.

Streaks are likely due to poor care of your microfiber cloth. They need to be washed in HOT water with mild detergent and very importantly NO FABRIC SOFTENER. Fabric softener blocks pores in the fabric which give it its properties.
