I'd love to be able to have different instruments for my right and left hands. I don't see a way to do that with GB. So I was wondering if there is a not too hard way to use two USB keyboads with GB?

Maybe in Garageband 2.0
I personally have gotten fed up with the limitations that Apple has put on Garageband (and the ridiculously low performance) and am seeking out a copy of Logic 7.0

supergod - GB is exactly what it was meant to be.

supergod - GB is exactly what it was meant to be. Which is ENTRY LEVEL instrument recording software. I do know that you can, in some cases, use the right and left channels separately to record two inputs like a mic and guitar. I just didn't know if anyone had been able to hook up to USB keyboards like that.

If you are able to do more than what GarageBand can do. Then yes, you should be looking at Logic Express or Logic Pro.
