Can I watch Apple's media event anywhere LIVE?

I managed to watch the WWDC live from some guy streaming using his phone... Will there be similar links where I can watch the media event next week?

Not usually but The Verge and Engadget have real nice live blogs.

Outside of managing to get your own invite, flying across the pond and attending it in person, you'll likely only find sites (such as this one) with numerous pictures and a running commentary on everything.

No, you can only follow live blogs where they post pictures and comments. The whole event will be available to watch on apple.com afterwards.

MacRumors now has a very nice live blog as well. They premiered it at the last event and I found it to run a tad more smoothly than the other live blogs.
