Can i windows install program and games on external hard drive?

Hi, since i am struggling with install of Windows on external hard drive, i gave up
Instead of odd methods to install it through external hard drive, i want to use bootcamp natively but having only 128 GB, i would get another trouble
What the best partition size between OSX and Win 7?
Note i have very light use for both system
Multimedia stuffs will be transfered on NAS
I haven't the need of heavy softs such as lightroom either...
I am thinking about 70 GB for OSX and 50 GB for Windows 7, maybe 50/50 each?
Can i also install program and games on external hard drive for W7?
My heaviest stuff would be games of course
