iOS 6 users try this.

Copy a contact, and paste it into the dialer. You are unable to edit the number, say I want to change it for an office extension number or hide the number I'm calling from when calling a work colleague. Well you'd have to type out the whole number.

Can you finally edit numbers in the dialer in ios 7? Please tell me you can!

So when you put a number in the phone dealer you can drag a cursor around and numbers at the beginning or the end of the number you pasted in?

No you can't (iOS 6.1.4), he didn't understand you.

I can confirm that you still can't do that. Only delete one-by-one from the end of the number.

iOS7 b3, iPhone 4.

I can add numbers to the end but not move the cursor around toward the beginning. I see what you mean now.
