Can iOS auto-clear Safari history like macOS?

If I have macOS Safari’s preference set as ‘remove history after one day’ will that also erase my history on my iOS devices too?

If so, will macOS auto-clear the Safari history when not in use? Or do you have to actively use the Mac to have Safari be auto-cleared?
