Can iPhoto sort movies too?

iPhoto imports movies from my digital stills camera but, annoyingly, I can't find a way to easily search for them.

I've tried to set-up a smart album where "Filename" contains ".AVI" but it still misses some (even thought the filename contains .AVI).

Any ideas of the best way to easily find movies within iPhoto?

You can create a folder on the left-side pane titled "Movies." After you import the movie, it will be under Recent > Last Import. Simply drag the movie (on the right-side pane) to the folder you have created.

Thanks for that, but it still means I need to go through eight years of iPhoto finding the movies. And that seems to be the tricky part!
