I got a lot of info by browsing this forum, and yesterday I ran the ziphone jailbreak on my touch. Everything seemed to go perfectly, but I have one problem. Ever since I ran the jailbreak, Safari doesn't seem to be tracking cookies at all.
For example, I have an iGoogle account set up and have a number of RSS feeds set up in the Reader. I used to be able to navigate easily and never had to re-enter my user name & password. Now, I am asked to enter that info constantly--even going from one of the RSS items back to the list of all new items, I'm directed to the log-in screen.
There are also other forums that I frequent, and now I'm logged out between looking at the list of new threads and clicking on one of them to open it...
Did the restore & jailbreak process do something to Safari's ability to track cookies, or could it be something else. Can I fix it, or is my best option to do a full restore & re-run ziphone?
Thanks in advance!
Tim
