Can my 2009 MBA run Lion smoothly?

I'm thinking to install Lion on my 2009 MBA which has 2G memory and SSD. I notice the minimum requirement is 2G.
Anyone here has run Lion on a 2G laptop? I will give up if the performance is awkward.

Yes. It indeed meets the requirements. However do you remember iOS 4 slow down iphone 3g?

Lion runs just fine with 2GB.

My experience has been the reverse, slow, scrolling is not very smooth and as soon as I do a wireless time machine backup the fans run 1t 6200 rpm until I sleep and resume it. It's so sluggish I'm going back to SL as soon as I can get the paper I'm working on out the door.
