I am getting really fed up with the "mobile version" of various websites, such as Google Calendar. Is there any way to disguise my iPhone as a real computer, so that it doesn't get redirected to the mobile version? Is there a good reason that the normal version of Google Calendar doesn't work on the iPhone? I can't think of the reason, I don't think it requires Flash or anything else which is incompatible with the iPhone.

Please help, this is seriously impacting the usefulness of my iPhone.

When you go to Google on your iPhone, select Classic instead of Mobile.
Viola... you have the normal Google site.

That does not work for Google Calendar, it is the first thing I tried. Google Calendar is still mobile.
