Can my late 2008 MB work on a 24" LED monitor?

yeah so I have a late 2008 unibody macbook, 13" and I want to buy a 24" LED monitor on boxing day

so can my macbook run on full resolution on a 24" screen? (1080P i guess)

if so, what do you recommend for a monitor? (not the cinema display, too much $$$)

sure, no problem

13" unibody macbook will do 2560 X 1600, or a 30" screen size

LED is a type of LCD, just with a LED backlight as opposed to CCFL on most other LCDs

Is there some reason you need/want LED?
