Can my 2012 Macbook Pro run Counter Strike Global Offensive smoothly? My specs are:
Processor 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
Processor Cache 3 MB L3
Memory 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 384 MB

Since you have the 13in on medium to low settings yes.
If you really want to play games on MBP, you should of bought the 15in with dedicated graphics.

HD4000 is not the best with gaming.
And bump the RAM up to 8GB so your integrated GPU can have 512MB of VRAM instead of 384MB.

I have the same exact macbook as you and cs go runs amazing on high settings with no anti-aliasing. Any source games runs well on intel hd 4000 chipsets. I have l4d2, cs:go, tf2 and day of defeat and they all run in high settings no lag and no problems

usually if you just drop shadows to low quality ...you shouldnt have a problem running it smoothly and still looking good
