Dear all,

First time poster.
Can my mom/second party return my ipad in Canada? I am out of country and original purchase was charged under my card/name.


Also, can i still return the new ipad? It was shipped to my canadian address March 19,2012. However, it was preordered a week prior.

Yes however since preordered online I assume you have to process the refund through the online store account. It will give you option to return items, then you ship them back free of charge.

if you bought it online you have to send it back.

this is no longer true, as apple now accepts in store returns.

In the US...you can return anything you bought at the online store, at a local apple store. I just had a friend even return a refurb appletv to a local store since the new appletv came out.
