can no longer open .ics attachment

I occasionally get invites from Outlook exchange users. I was able to click on the .ics attachment and it would create an event on my iphone calendar. Now, nothing. If I press and hold, it opens the apps that I can choose from (like Mail, box, bump, Evernote, ..) but no Calendar. I wish I could remember when this stopped working.

Suggestions?

I do have an icloud calendar and subscriptions and shared calendars.
