So I’ve noticed I no longer have “off” under the noise control options? Why would Apple remove this?? Can I just not turn it off at all now..?

You made me get my AirPods out and look 😂.

Apparently it’s due to the hearing protection and if you turn off noise cancellation, AirPods cannot protect your hearing. You can still turn it off. They just make you turn a switch saying you know that you won’t have hearing protection if you have this selected.
