I can't complete my Apple Watch 1.gen parring. I have tried with multiple iPhones in different iOS 11.x versions. from 11.03 to 11.2.

The watch has in the past been used with beta software, but it should be remove with the officiel 4.0 launch which i stil believe is the current version on the watch.

I have tried many things with no lock, so now I seek your help.

I have tried both automatic and manual parring. Only difference between these are "verify Apple Watch software" I get when doing the manual parring. No upgrade of software is startet though.

The Iphone says the parring is complete and I press "Set up Apple Watch". After selecting "left arm", the iPhone shows "Connecting your Apple Watch. This may take a moment".
The watch says "Setting language", but after a while goes to star/galaxy you know from auto parring. First with movement, but after a while it freezes.

If I press the screen on the watch lightly, it say "pleases continue setup on your phone"
If I Forcepress on the watch, it gives me the choice to reset to factory. In the bottum of the screen I t read "Err: 3".

After a while the phones say "Parring failed. you Apple Watch couldn't pair with your phone".

It seems that the iPhone and watch ARE connected via bluetooth all the time . Even when the "parring failed" message appears.

Any ideas?

GOT IT !!!!

On Find my iPhone, i had only set it to "Delete watch and notify me when it is done". The watch was still connected to my iCloud though.

All I had to do, was to REMOVE it from find my iPhone. Simple solution that took me HOURS to figure out.

Feels like a idiot. Hope my story can help others.
